Hamas has released a video it says is of an Israeli hostage, Liri Albag, who has been held in Gaza since Hamas’s October 2023 attack. Albag, reportedly a soldier, called for the Israeli government to secure her release in a three-and-a-half-minute video. In a video response, her parents said: ‘Today we spoke with the prime minister, president, IDF chief of staff and defence minister, and we told them to make a deal. This is the time. There’s Liri and 99 other hostages who need to return home quickly’
